Do I need a visa to visit Namibia?
Most visitors from Europe, the UK, the US and southern Africa receive a visa on arrival or travel visa-free for stays up to 90 days. Check with your nearest Namibian embassy for your nationality, and make sure your passport is valid for six months beyond your travel dates with two blank pages.
When is the best time to visit?
Namibia is a year-round destination. May to October (the dry winter) offers the best wildlife viewing at Etosha as animals gather at waterholes, with cool nights and mild days. November to April brings dramatic skies, green landscapes and newborn wildlife — and quieter roads.
Is self-drive in Namibia safe?
Yes — Namibia is one of Africa’s best self-drive countries: quiet roads, clear signage and a well-mapped network. Most routes are good gravel; we set you up with a suitable 4×4, a route plan matched to realistic driving times, and we stay on the phone throughout your trip.
What is included in a journey package?
Every journey includes the vehicle with insurance, all accommodation as booked, and a curated day-by-day itinerary. Park fees, fuel and meals not listed are for your own account — the inclusions table on each journey page spells it out.
How does booking work?
Send a quote request through our trip planner or WhatsApp. We confirm availability with the lodges, send you a detailed quote and itinerary, and secure the booking once you approve. No payment is taken online.
Can you arrange airport transfers only?
Absolutely — airport and point-to-point transfers are our foundation. We meet you at arrivals, and we cover any route in Namibia, from a Windhoek city run to a multi-day lodge-to-lodge transfer.
Are your journeys suitable for children?
Yes. Tell us the ages of your children in the quote request and we adapt the pace, driving distances and lodge choices. Many Namibian lodges welcome families; a few have age limits, which we plan around.
What should I pack?
Layers — desert mornings are cold and afternoons hot. Neutral-coloured clothing, a warm jacket (May–September), sun protection, closed walking shoes, and binoculars if you have them. Your confirmation pack includes a full packing list for your season.
